so...anybody here been listening to andy statman's new mandolin album, "east flatbush blues"? he's always been one of my favorite musicians, mandolin or clarinet/saxaphone. his new album pushes the boundaries of bluegrass further than anything else i can think of.
i'm so inspired by it that i'm thinking about performing some completely improvisational solo mandolin.
