Got in the car to drive home last night, the local folkie station WUMB on the radio.  The song playing is a fiddle version of the old Bob Wills tune "Faded Love".  Next song comes on, it a BG version of "St. Anne's Reel".  Guess what are the two most recent songs I taught myself on the Mando?  Weird, huh?

After the second tune, I heard Sammy Bush's voice talking about something.  I got out to pump gas and when I got back in the car, an announcer was introducing Dave Bromberg.  Turns out it was excerpts from the Boston Folk Festival from a few years age that had Sam B, David G, and a bunch of other good music which was the only year I attended the Boston Folk Festival.

If you're religious you probably see it as God moving in your life, if you're secular, you may see it as Collective Consciousness. Or perhaps more like, when you buy a red car, you start see a lot of red cars.

I prefer to think of it as "Plate of Shrimp" aka "Lattice of coincidence".

:-)
