Well the pro thread is pretty much the height of stupidity.  So are a few of the others.

The rest of the stuff, well the forum is kinda like a magazine about a hobby.  You can get a copy of Runners World magazine every month but people have been running for 137,003 years so just how much can be new every month.  Not much new comes along so after a while, either it's weird stuff out of left field or the same old stuff rehashed.  You have to remember that new folks will come along who haven't had the string chat yet.  

Regarding the runner's magazine, it made me think of those women's magazines.

When you stand in the grocery store and glance at the cover they are telling women that they are eating, dressing, kissing and making love wrong.  Then about every third or fourth month they have an article about how to improve self-esteem.  My answer is simple, don't read those other issues.

I see Mando Johnny is quite busy over at the Cafe these days..........I seldom read over there anymore though. Matter of fact I need to sell a bunch of my mando stuff........ I've pretty well quit playing.

I guess I should sell two of my three Elliott electric mandos.....these things are deluxe eye candy & I have mando cases stacked up like cordwood! A tone guard & pickguards for a Rigel A.........more stuff if I start digging around.

Ya know what Rigel charged me for a pickguard for my A Nat?  About $70-80 or something like that!!!

You don't have an arm rest for a Rigel A by any chance?  For some reason I think I want one.  Maybe a tone guard too.

I would love to have a shaped case for my Rigel A+ Deluxe.  Dale, do you have any thing like that to sell?  Nothing I have found is a snug fit.

I don't have a Rigel anymore to check the fit with. I have a Tweed TKL rectangular that I think would work.

And some deletions.  The one that specifically comes to mind is the pictures of a mangled mandolin and complaints from the guy who it was built for.   The mandolin had a huge chip out of the soundboard that was glued back in place.  The scroll looked hideous.

It was a mess and looked very ugly.  The guy never identified the builder, he was just venting his frustration.  The chef voiced his opinion that the forum wasn't going to be used for this purpose.  Then poof it was gone....

And what is up with Big Joe?  I know he has health issues.  I hope that isn't why he is selling the DMM!
