It's funny & sad at the same time.

I spend alot of time grazing craiqslist in pursuit of 4 wheelers & motorcycles. Sadly the above listing is fairly representative of something I see WAY to often.

Folks don't mention mileage or year model in many listings.......& when they use the word "mint" I cringe.

In this day & digital age what kind of dumbass can't post pictures?............ugh

I'm still using a Sony Mavica that uses a floppy disc...........but I can post pics!

To buy my mando, I parted out an old electric guitar on Ebay to get some cash.  The pricey item was an American-made Fender Strat neck in virtually new condition which I got > $350 for.  

To show people I really had it, I took a few digital photos of it after placing in on the front page of the day's local newspaper (Boston Globe).  Don't know why more people don't do that.  It isn't a perfect protection of fraud but it helps.  For one thing, it proves the earliest date on which the photo was taken; so you know I didn't find an old photo on the web somewhere.    It also adds evidence, although doesn't completely prove, that I have the item in my possession.
