I see Mando Johnny busy over at the MC these days, personally I find little of interest there anymore. I think we can safely say the great OBWAT mando craze is over............

OK, since I got kick off the MC, I've been lurking there and agree that it has lost its charm. The same ol, same ol' boring crap - "beginner, what mando do I buy", "diff between Gibson, Webber, et al" blah,blah,blah.

I'm glad I can't post any more. When I could, it seemed I answered or commented on the same stuff and started to repeat myself over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and... What!? Doing it again

I find whatever the forum is on actually playing mando to be occasionally good.  Not all the time but once every few weeks a good question gets asked and there are some very knowledgeable replies.  I asked a couple question and got some good info.  

I like to browse the classifieds just to see what stuff goes for.  I don't have $$$ for a new mando now but maybe down the road a spell.

I think you guys are being too harsh.  I had no idea who the best mandolin player was until yesterday's thread on Chris Thile.

The first response was good; "... but the best of anything is so subjective." is all that need be said.  The rest of the thread is just troll fodder.

I'm enjoying the guy who posted calling the MC a Gibson fan site and calling bluegrass music a "horrid festering pimple on the face of music". Not that I agree with him, I just like it when things on the Cafe get less than polite and everybody gets scandalized. I was thinking about sending him a PM and inviting him over here...

I just checked out the MC and the post you are refering to has been deleted "comment removed for violating board posting guidelines".  What a joke.  It seems as long as your kissing a$$, your post is safe, you post something that will get people's panties in a bunch and all hell breaks loose.
