I've been trading motorcycles & 4 wheelers a good while now. Just like mandos, I try to carry really clean, low mileage quality rigs. But in the last 6 months there has been an absolute flood of chinese bikes & 4 wheelers. Some look good but the reliability sucks & getting parts is damn near impossible. The idiots are buying them though.....because they are CHEAP at the initial purchase, but you can't give then away when used & there is constantly something wrong with them.

Unfortunately my Fords has been back for three or four recalls.  It was all stoopid little stuff like door locks.  

Last week the transmission went haywire and it was in the shop for two days.  Got it back Friday.  Yesterday, the tranny light came on again so it's going back tomorrow.  You know what kills me; it's a US made car except for the tranny, it's a Japanese tranny.

Oh man.......I think they quit that cvt on the new "Taurus"......that's right, your 500 is now a "Taurus".

The Taurus and 500 overlapped for one year.  Then the 500 was discontinued.  A year after that, they renamed the 500 the Taurus.  It's a 500; not a different car.  Stupid move in my opinion.  It's not an updated model.  It's a completely different model.  The Taurus was successful 20 years ago and they want to try to cash in on the rep.  It's stupid though because it's looking back, not looking forward.  Of course the name is meaningless, it's whatever the car is.

We're having a ton of snow up here so when my wife called to say it had to go back in, she insisted they reserve a 4WD.  So guess what I'm driving this weekend?  I full-size 5 passenger cab F150.  I've driven some rice-burner pickups but never a full size.  Man that thing's big.  You kinda feel like your heads gonna brush the traffic lights when you drive under them.  And you feel like you can drive over anything.  Like maybe I'll just drive up the hood of that wampy little Toyota.

LOL!..... extremes kinda like my two vehicles, a Honda Element that I drive nearly all the time & my Chevy crewcab 1 ton. I hardly ever drive the truck anymore & if it wasn't for having a couple of large heavy trailers (plus the truck is paid for) I'd get rid of it.

It costs as much now to fill up the Honda as I used to pay to fill up that 1 ton.......ugh.
